We connect space in Denmark
Space Denmark was founded to unite Denmark's space sector and create a common entry point for the outside world. Our goal is to represent the entire sector, from industry, research institutions, and authorities to students, the media, and anyone with an interest in space.
About the organisation
What is Space Denmark, and what is your mission?
Space Denmark is a membership-based organisation working to unite and strengthen Denmark’s space sector. Our mission is to promote collaboration, innovation, and international visibility so that Denmark can play a central role in the global space economy.
Who can become a member of Space Denmark?
Anyone with an interest in space is welcome! This includes businesses, organisations, universities, students, hobbyists, NGOs, international actors, or anyone wishing to be a part of Denmark’s space ecosystem.
Does it cost anything to become a member?
No, membership is free for 2024 and all of 2025. We want to make it easy for everyone to join and contribute to building the community.
Membership will automatically expire on 31 December 2025. After this date, you will need to renew your membership under the terms in place at that time.
Why does the membership expire? As Space Denmark grows, it may become necessary to charge a membership fee. By allowing the membership to expire, we can easily update our terms if needed.
How do I sign up as a member?
You can sign up via our website by completing a simple form. It only takes a few minutes, and you’ll become part of a growing network in the space sector.
What benefits do I get as a member?
As a member, you’ll have access to networking meetings, international delegations, reports on Denmark’s space activities, and opportunities to collaborate with other stakeholders in the sector. You will also be part of a platform that enhances your visibility and connections.
Please note that member benefits may change without notice.
How does Space Denmark contribute to Denmark's space sector?
We create connections between stakeholders in the sector, share knowledge and analysis, organise events, and represent Denmark at international trade fairs and conferences. All of this strengthens collaboration and innovation.
We have four main ambitions:
- Raise political awareness about the opportunities in space,
- Strengthen Denmark’s international position in the space sector, promoting exports and investment,
- Facilitate networking opportunities for Danish space actors both within and outside the country, and
- Educate the public and industries about the value space and satellite data create – even here on Earth.
Can international organisations also become members?
Yes, we welcome international organisations! Space Denmark is open to actors who wish to collaborate with Danish partners or learn more about Denmark’s space sector.
How can I participate in your events and delegations?
All members receive invitations to our events and delegations. We share information about upcoming opportunities through our newsletter and website, where you can also register.
Is it possible to sponsor Space Denmark?
We are exploring the possibility of adding sponsorship packages. If you’re interested in becoming a sponsor, such as having your logo displayed at our member events, please contact us at kontakt@spacedenmark.dk.
