The Danish Minister for Higher Education and Science, Christina Egelund, will visit the UK on 13–14 May, with a focus on collaboration in the fields of quantum computing and space technology.
A key highlight of the space-related programme will be a visit to the Harwell Space Cluster – the heart of the UK’s space ecosystem.
As the largest space cluster in the UK, Harwell is home to over 100 space organisations, ranging from major players such as Thales Alenia Space and Open Cosmos to smaller, innovative companies. At its core is RAL Space – the UK’s National Laboratory for Space Science – and the ESA Business Incubation Centre (ESA BIC UK), which has supported over 100 space start-ups, offering significant opportunities for both new entrants and established companies.
A select group of Danish space companies will have the opportunity to participate in parts of the Minister’s programme on 13 May.
