Satellitter er ikke længere kun infrastruktur\, men strategiske aktiver og skellet mellem civil forskning\, kommerciel innovation og militær anvendelse bliver stadig mere udvisket. \nKom og få et analytisk indblik i\, hvad Danmarks rolle er i et rumkapløb præget af stormagtsrivalisering\, sikkerhedsdilemmaer og teknologisk afhængighed. Arrangementet åbner med et oplæg af militæranalytiker Jakob Clod Asmund\, der sætter Danmarks rumengagement ind i en bredere geopolitisk og sikkerhedspolitisk kontekst\, herunder spørgsmålet om militarisering af rummet. \nHerefter følger en paneldebat\, hvor Jakob får selskab af Henning Skriver (DTU Space) og Emilie Marley Siemssen (GomSpace)\, der repræsenterer henholdsvis forskningens og erhvervslivets perspektiv på Danmarks strategiske muligheder og begrænsninger i rummet. Baggrunden er en aktuel international udvikling\, hvor rummet i stigende grad ses som et selvstændigt domæne for magtudøvelse\, regulering og konflikt. DESCRIPTION:Danish Space Delegation to the UK\nAccompanying the Danish Minister for Higher Education and Science\n13 May 2025\nThe Danish Minister for Higher Education and Science\, Christina Egelund\, will visit the UK on 13–14 May\, with a focus on collaboration in the fields of quantum computing and space technology. \nA key highlight of the space-related programme will be a visit to the Harwell Space Cluster – the heart of the UK’s space ecosystem. \nAs the largest space cluster in the UK\, Harwell is home to over 100 space organisations\, ranging from major players such as Thales Alenia Space and Open Cosmos to smaller\, innovative companies. At its core is RAL Space – the UK’s National Laboratory for Space Science – and the ESA Business Incubation Centre (ESA BIC UK)\, which has supported over 100 space start-ups\, offering significant opportunities for both new entrants and established companies. \nA select group of Danish space companies will have the opportunity to participate in parts of the Minister’s programme on 13 May. \nProgramme outline \nTuesday 13 May\, afternoon \n\nTour of the Harwell Space Cluster\nB2B meetings with UK space companies followed by networking reception\n\nParticipation fee: DKK 6.250 (for SMEs) \nThis fee covers participation in the programme above.
