DESCRIPTION:Register here\nBuilding on the success of our May get-together\, we are excited to host the second edition meet-up in Young Space Professionals Copenhagen. \n\n\nYoung Space Professionals Copenhagen is a new community under Space Denmark which aims to provide informal networking opportunities for students and young professionals in Denmark’s space ecosystem. \nThe event is tailored to students and early career professionals aged 18-35 with an interest in the growing space sector. Whether you are interested in space science\, the new space economy\, future technology\, or you just think space is cool and would like to learn more – this event is for you! \nNo agenda this time – just informal networking with other young space enthusiasts in Copenhagen. \nFor this second meetup\, our venue will once again be the wonderful Urban Camper Hostel & Bar in Nordvest (5 min walk from the Nørrebro metro station)\, who have put together a special offer on drinks for our event. Read more about the venue. \nOh\, and did we mention they have just opened a rooftop bar as well? \nIt is free to take part\, but please register so that the venue knows how many people to expect. \nInclusion: Everyone is welcome. DESCRIPTION:Danish Space Delegation to the UK\nAccompanying the Danish Minister for Higher Education and Science\n13 May 2025\nThe Danish Minister for Higher Education and Science\, Christina Egelund\, will visit the UK on 13–14 May\, with a focus on collaboration in the fields of quantum computing and space technology. \nA key highlight of the space-related programme will be a visit to the Harwell Space Cluster – the heart of the UK’s space ecosystem. \nAs the largest space cluster in the UK\, Harwell is home to over 100 space organisations\, ranging from major players such as Thales Alenia Space and Open Cosmos to smaller\, innovative companies. At its core is RAL Space – the UK’s National Laboratory for Space Science – and the ESA Business Incubation Centre (ESA BIC UK)\, which has supported over 100 space start-ups\, offering significant opportunities for both new entrants and established companies. \nA select group of Danish space companies will have the opportunity to participate in parts of the Minister’s programme on 13 May. \nProgramme outline \nTuesday 13 May\, afternoon \n\nTour of the Harwell Space Cluster\nB2B meetings with UK space companies followed by networking reception\n\nParticipation fee: DKK 6.250 (for SMEs) \nThis fee covers participation in the programme above.
